Just settling into the new site today. How do you like it? New here? If so, please look around and let me know what you think. I’ve had this blog for a few years now and what started as a journal chronicling my experiences going to culinary school and cooking for my family has turned into somewhat of a profession. It doesn’t feel like work since I absolutely love what I do but I am a chef now and I love having this space to share my experiences with you.
I wear several hats these days. My biggest and most time-consuming job is being a mother of 3 young boys. The Spring is an absolute beast and in about an hour from now, I will be running all around town to a 3 different baseball practices in addition to karate. However, while the kids are at school, I freelance as a recipe developer from home. I also teach cooking classes from time to time and it is one of my favorite jobs! I taught one today and it was so rewarding and fun. Check out all of the great food the students made. They killed it!
I have been developing recipes for Skinnytaste.com lately too. It’s a wonderful food blog and I am so happy to connect with everyone over there. The recipe for the Salmon with Green Harissa featured above is here. Check it out! I’ll share some of the recipes from my cooking class soon.
