Berries in Chocolate

 

Is there anything more simple or elegant than berries and chocolate? If you are looking for the perfect treat to make for your Valentine, or just eat by yourself (like I am right now!), this is it. Wilton’s has these candy molds. I got mine at JoAnne’s. It’s as easy as melting the chocolate (I used E.Guittard semi-sweet and melted it at 30-second intervals in the microwave), refrigerating it for about an hour, popping them out and filling them with any berries you like. You can put some whipped cream on the plate too. It’s so easy, I don’t even need to write a recipe. Just make sure you pick up the ingredients tomorrow. You can even fill them with this chocolate mousse if you want to get fancy. Happy Valentine’s Day! XOXO
